This has been implemented, somewhat. The walk speed is now 5 units faster than NPC speed because base NPC speed disabled footsteps. As for the sliding... well, if anything, it's even more noticeable now. The issue must be rooted deep within Clockwork's animation system - something that I cannot...
We recently added a few more props. I generally dislike adding more things to the content collection, as I wish to keep it lightweight, and these are way too many - the majority of these props will go largely unused anyway, and just act as bloat more than anything.

I am unable to reproduce this. Standing in warm areas seems to warm my vortigaunt character up as expected. The warmup process is generally really slow and doesn't instantly get reflected on the character status. Just don't let it get down to freezing in the first place.
