A Reformation.

Foreword

As you may, or may not know - there has been a change in management for Amaria Healthcare, which is now to be looked after by Director Maxi Schulz.

This document is to preach, and speak upon what I intended to change, add - and reform, to view a new future in the healthiest ways.

First and foremost, I procure that we are to see afew changes in how we operate day-to-day. Any current workers, your roles will be dissolved and assimilated into this new system.

The Roles

The roles within the clinic will be sectioned under afew umbrella positions. As a worker at Amaria, you will fall into one of these and you will be able to climb the internal ranks.
There shall also be a new, funded, section of the clinic, that will be discussed later in this file.
You will be either a:

  • Senior Medic
  • Medic
    Or
  • Clinical Medical Worker.

Senior Medic

The top-dogs of their field, and should always be seen as such. Those receiving this rank are the highest performing, and deemed by the director to be the cornerstones within Amaria.

◙ Lead Surgeon ◙

◙ Trauma Team Leader ◙

◙ Lead Nurse ◙

Those given these titles, are all within the Branch of a Senior Medic, and oversee a team and lead their respective operations.

Medic

The next occupation is the Medic.
This term shall cover a multitude of positions, and there will be three stages of career progress: Trainee, Adept, & Experienced.

Trauma Response Team

A front-line worker, that operates Gurneys, and utilize the tools at our disposal to correctly ensure survival on sites of damage or accident. You would act under orders of the Trauma Team Leader, but must be prepared to work alone where needed. You will need to be fit, healthy, and aware. Training can be provided, but prior knowledge is preferred.
A TR member will need to perform support such as CPR, Critical First-Aid, and other significant operations on first contact. There will be an entire document on their specific operations, and a fitness test will be required.

Surgeons

A surgeon is technically clinic-side however are grouped different to a Clinical Medical Worker.

They will be able to perform common surgery effectively, and niche surgery through progress and experience. This will of course depend on the individual's field of specialization, however Experienced and Lead Surgeons can be tutors to other surgeons to grow knowledge and skill-sets.

Bigger surgical operations require a full team, and in event of tragedy Experienced and Lead Surgeons should prioritise loyal members of Benefactrices or Amaria Customers, and Trainee + Adept surgeons may assist all others.

Therapist/Psychologist *New* (T.R.A.U.M.A. Unit)

The new, and smaller team based in the Clinic, is the Therapist/Psychologist role. This position is overseen by a Lead Nurse.

The focus of this division is around the mental wellbeing and cognitive function of our populace.
Those in this employment I wish to personally add to what I am helming the T.R.A.U.M.A. department, based on stabilizing, sedating and re-organising a person's outset and look on life.

We have the tools to see everyone living cohesively, and unified. We simply have to be a professional set of trusted ears, that they can talk to safely.

For more information on this department, please see: T.R.A.U.M.A. Unit.

Clinical Medical Worker

This group of workers are more general, and will likely be offered to many fresh starting workers under Amaria.

Following the same pattern of being a Trainee, Adept, & Experienced Clinical Medical Worker (CMW), your role shall be much of a jack-of-all trades position.

The position consists primarily of maintenance and clinical clean-up, to restocking, filing and reception duty, however all of this is vital to maintaining high standard of operations within the Clinic.

A Clinical Medical Worker would also be expected to assist most other divisions within Amaria, and be comfortable to learn/pick-up information and guidance from other members.

The Work Ethic.

Workflow is very important to us at Amaria.
Allow me to break up what I expect of each of you.

Any senior role, I expect precision and swiftness leading your delegates in your task. I expect cohesion between all branches, and that includes the sharing of resources. You should know your work-stations inside out, be prepared for any moment for a work-call, and keep on top of your patients, and delegates.

Trauma Response Team(s), you are expected to be ready to deploy and know your way around the industrial district well. You are to aid those who have fallen, stabilize to the best of your ability and provide them to the correct area of the Clinic for further assistance. You are also expected to help all who potentially need your services. The rest will be taken care of. We are here to preserve.

Surgeons, you are a very important role, administering drugs, performing life-saving operations and being the real driving force within the clinic. I expect full sanitation, extensive reporting, and precision. We all rely on you, to do your part to the best of your ability.

Therapists and Psychologists, your work is imperative to keeping the populace healthy. We need you to administer the correct levels of support, tests and drugs to patients in dire need of them. You’re expected to be loyal to your patient, and do all within our power to see them through to returning to work, a better Citizen.

T.R.A.U.M.A Unit.

(Different to Trauma Response team, which is more akin to paramedic work, and front-line assistance.)

Aforementioned, I am opening up the option for T.R.A.U.M.A. to function here in City 8. This is a branch of psychologists and therapists dedicated to our people, prepared to face the hardships of her people, and ensure the safe return of an individual to civilian life.

When designated an individual, you are to routinely check on them, as you see fit. Provide them with welfare tests, learn about them, study them, and apply methodology to return them to function. A citizen, OR unit assigned to you, is confidential, however you must follow regulation given in teaching.

Trauma stands for:

T) Trust.

R) Rationale.

A) Assistance.

U) Unification.

M) Measurement.

A) Action.

‣ Trust must be built with a patient, to allow them to talk freely to you.

‣ Rationale must be understood, respect their situation and listen attentively.

‣ Assistance can be given, through dosage or emotional support sessions.

‣ Unification must be met, to align their outlook to that of a positive and healthy citizen.

‣ Measurement must be enacted to view progress, and monitor their movement along the system.

‣ Action will be taken, if the patient cannot reintegrate into society.

Equipment, and protocol.

Within our possession is supply, equipment and medicines that can be and should be provided to the public following our fee protocol.

A full clinical equipment list will be added here soon.

You are expected to understand where things are kept, and remain an order. Contamination of blood-samples with other objects is a mistake that can cost lives.

You are provided a medical shirt, and armband. This must be visible, for an Officer to identify you and allow our work to be done. Please keep your Uniform shown whilst you are on duty, unless the situation requires you to remove it.

Trauma Response Team will have their own uniform and equipment as per their document.

Parting Words:

I want to personally thank you all, for your dedication to Amaria so far, and hope you can accept me as your new Director for the foreseeable future, because together - we can ensure a healthy and efficient city that others will be jealous of.

See you at work,

Director Maxi Schulz.
