Hello! I'm Sensei, a player who spend more than 3 years in serious-roleplaying type - especially on HL2 RP. Nothing much to say, I'm 20 and achieving 21 soon this month and my fav games besides gmod: war thunder and team fortress 2, occasionally Arma III
I'd like to share my appreciation towards this gamemode since it is quite unique, from at least my perspective. I am still attached to it despite losing countless hours playing. First time when I played Half-Life 2 was in 2011, I didn't quite understood anything besides running around and hope I don't get killed for not picking up that can. Few years later, played it again and well.. I got more interested in it, trying to understand what happened more accurately in that universe.
Later, found Gmod and decided to get a copy. Jumped straight on a sandbox server, made some friends here. Jumped to darkRP, it was fun but sometimes completely annoying due to trollers, mic spammers and so on. Well, it's an arcade game - what to expect? I scrolled a bit down on gamemode menu and I have seen CW: HL2RP. Jumped in, texture errors everywhere, completely headache but the community was surprisingly more civilized idk if that's the right term to use but you get it (speaking in-game). I downloaded the plugins, then played it over countless hours.
I could cover all the pro and cons the HL2RP experience has offered among the years but that's not the point here. I left it because the community I was playing was taken down (guess the administrators got in a bad argument with devs, don't know the exact reason) and decided to take a break. After all, here I am - joining a new community in hope the serious roleplay in half life 2 universe is still the same, maybe even better. Glad to know you all!
