Good evening everyone! I'd like to apologize and say that the interview has been delayed by fourty five minutes. Depending on circumstances on my end, it may be delayed by an hour, though that is unlikely.

I am really, really sorry about this! But take my word, it is going to be a lovely interview!

SPEECHES, RESIGNATIONS, ACTION IN CITY EIGHT!
Good day, citizens of City Eight! After a couple weeks of silence and inaction, our District had men fleeing to the outer parts of the city, such as the Refuge and the sewers. Tonight however, we saw the cause of the silence in the city with our beloved Administrator taking out the Governor out.

There is also word of a expedition happening to the outlands as some papers say. Not to mention about other people in the other half of the city, including dear miss Lucia Mendoza! We had a lovely interview with her some time ago, which we will soon being spreading copies of.

The Giant Wakes - City Eight Rising!
Ever since Amakalech came to power at the end of 20AE, our district suffered and so did City Eight, as our beloved district makes up pretty much the entire city. During his reign, our dear district would face multiple terrorist attacks, including a devastating attack on warehouse three and the kidnapping of Speaker Toussant, not to mention the countless officers and people killed during shootouts and protests. After six months of running our beloved district, he was finally fired by Administrator Nakamura, starting a district-wide elections for the position.

A week ago, a figure almost everyone in the district knows at this point won the elections, doctor Kirsty Mairead. She is now tasked with the insanely heavy burden of saving a city that has been fallen almost entirely. People fleeing out, disorder, no money in vault, Workers' Union completely dysfunctional, famine, railroads damaged, private healthcare, a part of district sealed off. And yet, she started to work on solving these problems in just a week, having sleepless nights and meetings that are hours long.

So far she put the Workers' Union back on track along with having negotiations with key figures in the city alongside some smaller reforms. She has promised our district peace, welfare, economic development, alternative ways to import goods and an end to negligence. We are yet to see what the future awaits and as that future comes step by step, I am here to tell each and every one of you how it is going, how will it go and what the people think of it, from everyday citizens to key figures of our district. To keep up on all this, tune in 237.1 every afternoon for Eight News, a program hosted by Radio Free Eight and brought to by your Malefactors.

In the coming days, we will have some unexpected and rather wise figures come up at our broadcast, figures that had a large impact on our city and let them speak about what will happen in the near future! I don't want to spoil any details but if I were you, I wouldn't miss these out. You won't get another chance at hearing these!
