Accepted Weapon Magazines

Suggestion: For there to be physical magazines and bullets for the use of loading actual usable magazines. While the current method of having just ammo boxes works, it can detract just a little from the realism and immersion of have actual magazines for your gun.
Basically there are magazines for guns that you can load with bullets to get a filled magazine.

Why it would be worth adding: It adds to the sense of immersion and realism of having guns, it also reduces the amount of ammo units and rebels will have in each individual gunfight, and you'd actually have to reload the gun manually instead of just pressing R when you've only fired five rounds down range. You could actually run out of bullets during roleplay and you could empty a gun's magazine during a CQC in-order to leave as such. While yes you could RP, I feel like seamless roleplay is always a thing that should striven for.

I actually wanted to do this after I saw the player drop empty magazines down in MMod, so this will probably come some day.

So what you’re saying is in an s2k, we’d need to dig into our inv to give ourselves a clip of ammo? I don’t entirely get replacing ammo boxes with this besides allowing rebels to not worry about guns running out of ammo when server restarts.

I could try to implement a system where you can auto-load magazines by pressing r as long as they're in your inventory. Perhaps also include a way to fast-load them by doing a 'combat reload' where you drop the magazine on the ground (with any leftover ammo, if any) at the expense of reloading a bit faster.
I won't make any promises for that but I'll see what I can do.
