What's better? GoldSrc bhopping, Source Old Engine bhopping, or ABH?

I mean "what's better" as of what in your opinion feels more satisfying to execute and/or watch.

What? You don't know what any of this is?
Bunnyhopping (in short bhopping) is a speedrunning technique which directly uses an exploit of the game. It usually consists of obtaining an absurd amount of speed by using some kind of exploit which includes a lot of jumping.

Now that you know the definition of bunnyhopping, let's see these three specific types I've mentioned
In most Valve games bhopping has always been a thing, in fact you can find it in GoldSrc titles, as well as Source titles.
First of all, GoldSrc (Half-Life and expansions, TFC, CS 1.6) bunnyhopping works thanks to airstrafing. In other words, strafe using the respective strafing keybinds while jumping and looking at the direction of the strafe. For whatever reason, FPS do have an effect on this exploit, the higher it is, the faster you will go with bhopping (do note that other mechanics will be modified at certain FPS caps). In the retail version of the game (aka before Steam even existed) you would have no problem in doing this, however in the Steam version there is a maximum velocity of 544 ups (units per second) against the 2000 of the retail version; you can still bhop with the same trick alongside duckrolling (another technique which involves ducking twice, useful for getting to some ledges faster), because Valve forgot to put a velocity limit on ducked players (bruh).
Next is the Source Old Engine, aka the first playable version of Half Life (2004) up to 2006 Engine. This version of the technique is possibly the easiest, as all you need to do is going forward while timing jumps; simply put, there's no velocity boundaries in the Old Source Engine.
With the release of the Orange Box Valve attempted to fix the bunnyhopping exploit (w h y), thus in the current version of Half Life 2 (which is called by speedrunners New Engine or 2007 Engine) it is not possible to bhop anymore...sike. Valve did indeed fix this exploit, but the way they did this created yet another exploit for bhopping, which is now called ABH (Accelerated Back Hopping). In short, what you need to do is initially jump forward, then immediately turn to the opposite direction in mid-air while releasing the "forward" key, then start timing your jumps. If you haven't guessed what the flaw is yet, it's basically a faulty equation in calculating the speed: Valve has in fact made it so that if you reach a certain speed, the game starts adding negative velocity to the player, so that the maximum would be almost equal to the sprinting speed. This however happens only if you're actually moving forward; in other words, you basically make the game think that you're moving forward so that the equation adds negative velocity, but since you then go backwards, all the negative speed makes you accelerate in the opposite direction of where you're looking, thus bypassing the treshold. Usually speedrunners also crouch, as it's been proven to be faster than walking and running (495 ups against 479 and 419); in addition to this, many also use circle jumping prior to executing ABH, as it boosts the player in the matter of no time. There are two variants to this (AFH or Accelerated Forward Hopping and ASH or Accelerated Side Hopping), however these are harder to do and will still give the same results, so most speedrunners go for ABH in order to reduce the amount of fails.
Finally, a small note on later versions of the Engine: The 2011 Engine (the one Portal 2 uses) does re-introduce the good ol' bunnyhopping in a similar fashion to the GoldSrc one, however the main difference is that you lose the ability to turn while in mid-air at a certain speed.

To sum it up all, which is the most satisfying? Either GoldSrc bhopping, Old Source Engine bhopping, or ABH.

Hey guys, desinc here, so we're just going to begin an accelerated back hop into the citadel, now you're going to want to shove this can in the door, this'll cause an explosion, now we're going to want to prop fly out so grab this pallet.
