Camp Fuji in Gotemba Japan, a Military Base for Japanese/U.S. Soldiers.
During the War it had been practically destroyed, yet there are still remnants of the old original caches and other medical facilities that remain as there are underground facilities that hadn't been touched by the war itself.
(This isn't the actual Camp Fuji but for visualization of what it probably is)
Much of what remains is a mystery to most people, except the mix of refugees and freedom fighters that resign themselves to this long forgotten base. They have no name nor wish to have a name, they mostly find themselves isolated from the rest of Japan and only take in refugees they happen to wonder into their arms of kindness.
