Lake Ashinoko
A once luscious country-side landscape turned cold and hollow. With little to no signs of life remaining. That is if you weren't trying to look for someone.
Amongst the long forgotten buildings is the small remnants of the House of Kusari's main buildings and infrastructure. The town's previous use was for tourism and its natural beauty, now its home to Camp Hakone, in the northern region of Lake Ashinoko there were once large living complexes and other facilities that many would find useful, such as a old indoor garden for beautiful Japanese life. Now repurposed into a green-house to supply fresh produce. The lake is a bounty of fish as well as a means of transportation.
Its secluded nature and rather unbeneficial positions for the combine rendered it almost untouched by the war, with buildings slowly growing more and more old by the days. But most things were left as the day people left them. With clinics and police stations being untouched, what's left is a bounty of goods that the House of Kusari has put to use.
Their main base of operations is located in a small harbor warehouse with plenty of storage space and free space to do as they please, they've made great strides in looking forward for new beginnings in old cities that once were. They know of the combine's occupation and that's why many forerunners have been sent to the local Terminal 6 to look for more people to free or liberate. Only time will tell, while their supplies aren't scarce they know things are finite.
(If this doesn't fit the lore of the House of Kusari I'm willing to change it just let me know, k thx)
