Dropped items disappearing after updates.

I dropped a book I spent a long time working on before the update, and then after logging back in after the CMU color update, it was gone.

I checked my inventory and everything, but it wasn't there.

This is probably due to the server not saving the dropped item data before an restart, I don't know though.
