LANCER NETWORKS FORUM GUIDELINES
This thread lists all the current active Rules & Guidelines for the Forums:
FORBIDDEN: IT IS FORBIDDEN TO...
1. Provoke or take part in harassment of other members or staff on forum threads or profiles. Use the report function or contact a member of Staff instead of replying.
2. Insult someone for their ethnicity, race, religion, sexual orientation, age, political views or disability.
3. Leak a member's private and personal information without their explicit permission - this includes but is not limited to images, addresses, and social media links.
4. Leak content from private forum boards - this could include private faction boards or sensitive Administration content.
5. Advertise another community in any way, shape, or form without the explicit permission of an Internal Affairs member or above. This does not include Cloud Sixteen.
6. Post malicious code, websites, links or videos.
7. Post NSFW and/or NSFL material - this includes but is not limited to pornographic images, videos, links, and gore of any kind.
8. Post Terrorist content - this includes videos, documents, pictures, etc. News articles are okay.
9. Create new/alternative forum accounts to avoid circumvent a punishment such as a ban.
10. Attempt to create a loophole in the rules. You will be punished more if you attempt to do so.
GENERAL: WHEN POSTING...
11. Refrain from creating drama threads, if you are having an altercation with another forum user, move the discussion to Private Messages.
12. Do not double post. Use the ‘edit post’ function if you want to add more information, or include something which you forgot to add to your post/thread.
13. When making a thread, use a clear and descriptive title.
14. Do not spam the alert/vote functions in any way as to flood another user's notifications.
15. Do not complain about a rating that you have received from another member.
16. Swearing is allowed to some extent, but always try to remain civil.
17. Refrain from posting spoilers of any kind. Use the spoiler prefix to warn other members.
18. Use common sense, do not post irrelevant or meaningless comments which could count as spam.
19. Do not post a ban appeal for another user/player - it will be considered ignored.
THESE RULES ARE NOT LIMITED TO WHAT IS SPECIFIED IN THE TEXT ABOVE. FORUM STAFF MAY DECIDE WHAT IS AND IS NOT SUITABLE FOR THE FORUM USING THEIR INTERPRETATION AND JUDGEMENT. IF YOU HAVE ANY COMPLAINTS ABOUT A STAFF MEMBER'S DECISION, CONTACT THE ACTIVE ADMINISTRATIVE MANAGER PRIVATELY.
