Suggestion: Implement and place a task board somewhere in the sewer system where there’d be a sort-of safe haven for people, or somewhere cryptic.
The task board would automatically get a set of random tasks every idk 3-4 hours depending on how hard those tasks are, from a pool of pre-written tasks. Things like: TASK-1: Collect 10 scrap metal pieces. TASK-2: Bring back a few bandages and etcetera.
This would of course need to be bug tested and played around with so it can‘t be overpowered or abused like say buying 3 bandages from a CWU and bringing them back to the task board for a profit. The tasks should be a one-per-player activity and offer some rewards but nothing over the top so they can’t run a huge profit from this every time by buying up needed items and selling them, instead they’d be encouraged to scavenge or find them.
Of course CWU use of this board should also be somehow monitored / restricted to avoid them running to the board and submitting whatever stock they have from medical areas or their shops to avoid some sort of, low to none player count token farming.
Why it would be worth adding: This suggestion could potentially offer people with criminal records and people who can’t risk a legal job, the ability to somehow still make a profit in some way while working other potential jobs for people. This would be just one of the many ways people could live not under union society and still have monetary income to sustain themselves.
Necessary content: A model for the board with papers (which I think already exists in hl2 or css models) and coding.
