We are the People.
The Liberated was a group of freedom fighters independent from the Combine’s laws and restrictions. We believed that everyone has a right to free speech and other basic human rights that the Universal Union has been completely eradicating since the Seven Hour War.
Our primary goal was to establish a safe haven from the Combine occupation; a place where rebels, insurrectionists, and refugees can live in happiness and relative peace. The Liberated never killed innocent people, nor performed actions that can hurt the civilian population. We relied on sabotage and minor rebel/terrorist actions to hurt the Combine and gather resources.
